Can I complete an online preliminary questionnaire and/or online survey using my mobile device?
What types of market research might I participate in?
- Focus group – A professional moderator leads a roundtable discussion to gather information about a company’s products and/or services in order to improve that product, it’s advertising and/or packaging.
- One-on-one interview – Similar to a focus group but a more in-depth discussion between a moderator and a single respondent.
- In-home interview – The moderator observes and collects data about how an individual lives in his natural surroundings as well as how various products are used at home.
- Shop-a-long – The moderator, who conducts an on-site grocery or retail store interview, observes and collects data about shopping behaviors.
- In-home use test – A respondent uses a product in his/her home for a specified period of time.
- Central location test (CLT) – A respondent visits PMR's facility to test various products and give feedback.
- Online chat-boards, journaling and video diaries – An in-depth and interactive observation of respondent activity over a period of time.
- Online survey – A respondent gives his/her opinion via an online form. No in-person visit is required.

What are my responsibilities as a market research participant?
- Do not agree to participate in a study if you can't commit 100% to the date/time.
- Please confirm your appointment via email or phone as soon as possible.
- Arrive on time and be ready to participate.
- Please do not send anyone in your place if you are unable to make it to your appointment.
- If you must cancel your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible since we will have to find a study replacement.
- Be truthful in your responses.
Can you tell me who your client is and/or who is sponsoring the research?
May I call PMR to inquire about upcoming studies?
May I forward your study emails to my friends/family members?
If I complete a preliminary questionnaire online, should I call PMR to see if I qualified?
How do I sign up to be in your database and start receiving emails about upcoming projects?
What should I do if my contact, demographic, and/or household information changes?
